I have a couple of contacts whose attachments appear as winmaiI.dat files every time they try to send a photo. Theyre technically challenged so it’s no use asking them to do it differently... I tried a couple of other email viewers and all they did was display garbage. This one does the job!
Easy to use winmail viewer
Works very well. and its extremely easy to use on my Mac. I don’t worry about received windmiIl.dat files that send from outlook any more.

Very simple. Just double click on the windmilI.dat file and it opens correctly. No more needs to be said.
I just downloaded this app and it worked just as promised!!! I was able to see all of the files that were hidden in the winmail.dat! These were important documents. Thanks a lot!!
This app is super straight forward and simple to use,which is probably what I love most about it.My office at work continues to send me attachments generated in Outlook which won’t open on my Macbook.This app works well for me everytime.
My work is about .dat files so i need an simple but strong app to read it. I downloaded and try it for 1 hour, now i love it so much. Very convenient app and not heavy, i can use it in anywhere or anytime i like. It helps me a lot, my work can be done faster and easier. I indeed have a winmail.dat file that was created from another email service app I previously used on another computer. I am glad to see this ap pcan open that file and retrieve information such as messages and photo attachments. And I can drag them to my desktop to save photos if I want. This really helped me recover some of my old stuff. Really helpful.
No use to me
I purchased this downloaded software to be able to open and read some files sent to me for review. Not only could I NOT open the files to read them, but the software kept demanding that I spend another $7.99 or more to be able to do so. Had I known that it would not work without further $$ spent, I never would have bought the thing in the first place. I ended up deleting this app and finding one on the App Store for free that did the trick. I am new to the .dat file scenario, so maybe others who have more experience will have better luck, but my advice is to steer clear of this program unless you want to spend $$.
